As rights campaigners gave warning that the country was once again teetering on the brink of full-blown civil war, forces loyal to the longstanding President Ali Abdullah Saleh opened fire on protesters for the second day in a row, bringing the death toll in the latest bout of bloodshed to about 50 people.
"Help me, oh my God look at his slaughter!" said the father of a boy killed by a bullet to the head, Al Jazeera reported.
