Let’s Get Out of the Middle East – and the UN by Rep. Ron Paul, September 27, 2011

Listen to Rep. Ron Paul deliver this address.

The Palestinian Authority’s recent announcement that it would seek U.N. recognition as an independent state dominated the news and the political debate in the United States last week, though in truth it should mean very little to us. Only a political class harboring the illusion it can run the world obsesses over the aspirations of a tiny population on a tiny piece of land thousands of miles away. Remember, the U.N. initiated this persistent conflict with its 1947 Partition Plan.   http://original.antiwar.com/paul/2011/09/26/lets-get-out-of-the-middle-east-and-the-un/

  1. The zionist are by nature aggressive by nature and they have no idea of how far they can take. It time to understand there is a cancer in the middle east and it is the zionist. As with all overly aggressive nations they will eventually end badly but they have been very good at getting others to do the bleeding for trouble they cause. We should not only leave the middle east but run away. There is nothing for us in that part of the world and I believe those that have loyalty to another nation then should be helped as they are forced to leave. We do not need people who do not put our interest in front of another nation which really is just a way of them getting in front of the line for limited economic available.
