So much for facial recognition software!
Santa Fe police asked the Center for Missing and Exploited Children to use its facial recognition on a photo of a then seven-year-old Robbie Romero and 18-year-old Robert Terrazas.
According to the facial recognition Terrazas' eyebrows, ears, nose and lips all matched those of Robbie Romero.
Those results encouraged police to order a DNA test on Terrazas and Robbie's mom, Evelyn Romero.
The results came back negative.http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S2293151.shtml?cat=500
