Panetta warns Israel getting more isolated

ON BOARD A MILITARY AIRCRAFT (AP) — Defense Secretary Leon Panetta warned Sunday that Israel is becoming increasingly isolated in the Middle East, and said Israeli leaders must restart negotiations with the Palestinians and work to restore relations with Egypt and Turkey. http://news.yahoo.com/panetta-warns-israel-getting-more-isolated-233326761.html

Iran assails two-state solution for Palestinians

(AP)  TEHRAN, Iran — Iran's supreme leader assailed a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians on Saturday, saying the Palestinian bid for statehood at the United Nations is doomed to fail.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said the Palestinians should not limit themselves to seeking a country within the West Bank, east Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip — which would implicitly recognize Israel — because "all land belongs to Palestinians." http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/10/01/ap/middleeast/main20114252.shtml?tag=re1.channel

The humiliation of Barack Obama

Sooner or later, it's going to happen. Most likely, the moment will come just before his first head-of-state meeting in New York. Or perhaps it will happen just before his first side-bar meeting with Binyamin Netanyahu. Or then again, it may come as the cumulative reaction to a series of embarrassing encounters with fellow world leaders. But the moment will come.
At some point this coming week, during his visit to the this year's opening of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, US President Barack Obama is going to have a nearly irresistible urge. He is going to want to stand up to his hovering political handlers and the smothering bureaucracy which tries to dictate his every move, summon his personal dignity, and say "Enough".http://english.aljazeera.net/indepth/opinion/2011/09/2011919102245537768.html

After Sixty Three Years of Occupation Israel still does not understand

After sixty-three years of occupation and conflict, Israel still does not understand what is the cost of its daily occupation of the Palestinian lands and continues to go in the wrong way to gain temporary security benefits.http://www.uruknet.info/?p=m81605&hd=&size=1&l=e

Palestinians deserve to have their day at the UN

Palestinians have taken hold of their future, regardless of what outcome awaits them
Barring a last minute development, such as a diplomatic initiative of monumental proportions, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will deliver a speech on Friday at the UN and then submit Palestine’s formal application for full membership into the international organization. It will be a move that the whole world will watch, follow and then react to. For many it will be an important game changer in Middle East politics, which for decades has been engrossed in the dramatic nuances of the Arab-Israel conflict and Palestinian struggle for liberation and independence.http://arabnews.com/opinion/columns/article504336.ece

U.S. laboring to avoid veto of Palestinian statehood bid at UN, sources say

Haaretz has more balanced coverage of this issue than the MSM whores in this country!

The United States is working to gather enough United Nations Security Council members to resist a planned Palestinian statehood bid so as to avoid having to use its veto power, Israeli and U.S. sources said on Saturday.
American officials, including U.S. President Barack Obama, have been outspoken in their objection to a unilateral Palestinian move at the expense of continued bilateral peace talks with Israel. http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/u-s-laboring-to-avoid-veto-of-palestinian-statehood-bid-at-un-sources-say-1.385055

Why does US block Palestine's bid for entering UN

Because the zionists own the American government!

The United States would "object very strongly" if Palestine were to seek UN membership, U.S. President Barack Obama said in an interview on Sept. 12. He explained that the Palestinian effort would obstruct the Middle East peace process and that the problem of Palestinian statehood cannot be resolved by the UN, but should be based on a peace agreement between Israel and Palestine. http://english.peopledaily.com.cn/90780/7597675.html
