Horses used for research 'sold off to butchers'
France was rocked by another horsemeat scandal on Monday when it
emerged that hundreds of horses that had been used for medical research
were then illegally sold off to the meat industry, despite them
not
being fit for human consumption. Police have arrested 21 in a series of
raids.
